What Are Cardiology Tests?

Cardiology tests evaluate the health and function of your heart and blood vessels. These tests help detect heart diseases early and monitor treatment effectiveness.

Why Are They Important?

Heart disease is a leading cause of death globally. Early detection through diagnostic tests can prevent serious complications like heart attacks and heart failure.

Basic Cardiology Tests:

ECG (Electrocardiogram): Measures electrical activity of the heart to detect arrhythmias.

2D Echo (Echocardiography): Ultrasound of the heart to assess structure and function.

What to Expect:

Tests vary in duration: ECG and Echo usually take 10–30 minutes; stress tests involve walking on a treadmill or cycling under supervision. All are non-invasive and safe.
